MPG Web Design has created a new look for GRK's web site. The new site is visually more interesting, and has been reorganized to help you learn more about GRK products and company
initiatives.
GRK's Web Site - now multi-lingual
With the assistance of our translators (Peter Seyffert and Ismel Gonzales),
the new GRK site can be rendered in your choice of English, French, German
or Spanish. Also, through partner organizations, you can learn more about
GRK products via links to sites that feature Japanese or Russian. GRK
is truly endeavoring to cater to an international clientele.

GRK's Trim Head Screw With Reverse-Thread
GRK has modified its innovative Trim Head screw to include a reverse
thread under the head of the fastener. Based on extensive tests, GRK
has found that the reverse thread helps the screw head disappear
beneath the surface of the building material - reducing or eliminating
the dimple that sometimes appeared when using the original trim head.
GRK's patented Trim Head Screws remain an excellent choice for decks,
most fine carpentry applications, as well as window extension jambs
and more. GRK's Trim Head screws feature the smallest screw head in
the industry - and are available in sizes from 1 1/" (40 mm) to 5"
(125 mm).
The new Trim Head screws (with the reverse thread) will gradually
replace the traditional Trim Head screws (the ones without the reverse
thread) over the coming months.
Introducing the GRK Vinyl Window Screw
GRK Fasteners is proud to introduce new (patent pending) product - the
GRK Vinyl Window Screw. This new product is based on several of GRK's
patents:
- GRK's patented Washer Head design,
- GRK's W-Cut thread design - to bite into the underlying wood
- GRK's Climatek coating - to reduce the possiblity of corrosion, and
- a special edge under the screw head to capture the vinyl strapping at penetration time
Using the Vinyl Window screw, there is no need to pre-drill. However, a
1/8" hole makes the job easier, and has good holding power. After the
screw head locks onto the strapping, adjustments are also very easy.

This is a new product and will be available early in 2004.
GRK's Bit Display
Available Now! The GRK Bit Display will soon be found in most retail
locations that carry GRK Fasteners. The bit display has a good selection
of quality products, including a selection of bits of various sizes
for GRK's star head screws, plus GRK's innovative MSS (Magnetic) Bit
Holder and other accessories that builders need. If you are looking
for quality bits for Phillips' or square, you will also find them on
the GRK Bit Display.
GRK's Metal Siding Screw
GRK's MSS screws are a new product. They were greeted enthusiastically by the market during the latter part of 2003. The MSS has an integrated washer head and is complemented with a rubber washer below the screw head. No pre-drilling is needed due to
the MSS' multiple tip design for thin sidings as well as thick studs. The MSS
is available in different colors to match siding appearance and is powder
coated for exceptionally high corrosion resistance.
