To Our Valued Customers

We thank our competitors for their efforts in testing our screws for
corrosion resistance.

It appears that the samples used were several years old; well before GRK
introduced the Climatek coating.

At that time, GRK "only" had a superior yellow zinc plating. By law it is
required that an unused screw with a yellow zinc finish must last for at
least 96 hours in a salt spray test without developing more than 15%
red rust on its surface. Our competitors discovered that our old yellow
zinc plated screws lasted more than 400 hours, which well exceeded our
claim at that time of 250 hours.

With the current Climatek coating, GRK knows that its products will pass
1200 hours of salt spray test or at least 25 Kesternich cycles.

We choose not to be part of the rumor-mill regarding performance of
competitive products.
